FINDING CAST & CREW FOR YOUR NEXT PROJECT
Film is a demanding art, and creating films requires a lot of time, knowledge and patience. If you want the best final product you’ll want the best cast and crew to bring your idea to life. In order to entice experienced volunteers, or even to hire, you need to describe your project and explain exactly what you need and exactly when you will needed.
The most common reason we see new film projects fail is the lack of respect for people’s time and ability to bring expertise to the table. Poor planning and poor communication can ruin a film. We’ve compiled some of the most basic questions that any potential cast/crew member will need to know to determine if your project is something they are interested in working on.
To better summarize your project and what you need, we encourage filmmakers to fill out the following form. Bring copies to RAFAS events and give to potential cast or crew. You can also email your project details to admin AT rafasny DOT org and we can help with advice on getting what you need.
