Welcome to the online Shmoovies Showcase!
This year, in lieu of an in person screening, we at the Rochester Association for Film Arts and Sciences are pleased to present for 2021 a showcase of short films from past years.
We've gone through our archives and pulled some favorites from past screenings, including those from the 72 Hour Mind to Movie competition and the Rochester Movie Makers Summer Shorts series.
Special thanks to Blue Moon Films and RCTV to help make this festival possible.
A Brief Word About Fundraising
Rochester Association for Film Arts and Sciences, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We are staffed and managed by a dedicated group of 100% volunteers. We offer events and programs to the community at low or no cost.
Like most businesses, we have been hit hard by COVID restrictions that have severely limited our ability to raise money.
In order to continue to offer programs like The Shmoovies, Scriptitude, the Rochester Writers Workshop, the Rochester Networking Workshop and others, we need to raise money to cover our operating expenses.
So if you have participated in a RAFAS event, attended one of our workshops or are a supporter of the Arts, please click the “DONATE” button below and contribute to RAFAS.
